Modern Warfare 2 fans have picked out the quality of life feature they want Infinity Ward to take from CoD Mobile.

Ahead of the long-awaited release of Modern Warfare 2, fans have picked out the useful CoD Mobile feature they want to see in the game.

Modern Warfare 2 is almost here and the new era of Call of Duty is about to begin. Since there is expected to be no mainline CoD release in 2023, the pressure is on Infinity Ward to keep fans occupied for two years with a quality game.

With the Modern Warfare 2 beta set to arrive in the coming days, it won’t be long before we get our first look at what this year’s multiplayer has in store, from new weapons to classic maps.

While hopes will no doubt be high for major innovations in Modern Warfare 2, players have actually picked out an existing quality of life feature from CoD Mobile that they want to see make the jump onto the console and PC titles.

CoD Mobile allows fans to compare in-depth weapon stats, giving them a clear breakdown of how a simple change in attachment will affect the gun’s performance in a match. The likes of Vanguard and Warzone give a broad comparison in areas like damage and accuracy, but CoD Mobile provides much more detailed information.

The menus show a complete analysis of a weapon’s stats, including bullet speed, sprint-to-fire time, and even damage distribution on each body part. Reddit user Michaeloa13 uploaded a clip where they compared attachments on the AS VAL, helping them decide on the perfect Barrel.

“This better be in the game,” they said in the post. “No way a FTP mobile game has better QOL features than a $70 game.”

As it stands currently, players that want such a detailed breakdown of in-game numbers need to use a third-party website such as TrueGameData. There is no way within the games themselves to get a clear picture of each individual stat.

Based on the comments from the post, it seems that the community would love to see these options come to Modern Warfare 2.

“Detailed stats page is a must, if they can go even more detailed that’s even better,” said one reply. “COD: Mobile gets all the best features first. Lots of QOL features like this one that should be in their flagship games,” said another.

A feature like this in Modern Warfare 2 would give players greater control over their loadouts and let them really tailor each weapon to suit their playstyle. This would especially suit higher skilled players, who are constantly looking for the optimal builds to give them an edge in every fight.

There’s no word yet on whether or not Infinity Ward have included an in-depth stat comparison as part of Modern Warfare 2’s new Gunsmith system, but players are clearly hoping they take cues from CoD Mobile in this regard.

We’ll likely learn more during the Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer reveal at Call of Duty Next, and during the Open Beta.

Call of Duty players will be able to drop into the fan-favorite Verdansk map again with the arrival of Warzone Mobile.

Call of Duty have been players calling for the return of Verdansk since its removal from Warzone, and now the fan-favorite map is making its long-awaited return in Warzone Mobile.

There is a plethora of Call of Duty content that players are looking ahead to in 2022, including the release of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, as well as the brand-new mobile version of Warzone.

At the Call of Duty Next event, the developers revealed new details about the content that will be included when Warzone Mobile finally arrives, such as the return of the popular Verdansk map.

Verdansk became a fan-favorite location for Warzone players to drop into but was eventually switched to Caldera with the arrival of Vanguard Season 1. Since then, players have been desperate to play on the map again.

The good news is that Verdansk will be available in Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile at launch. Its return was first teased in a trailer for the game, and now it’s been confirmed by the developers at CoD Next.

The developers announced: “From the snow-lined ridges near the Military Base to the hot drop of SuperStore, get ready to fight through hallmark vistas, urban areas, open battlegrounds, and everywhere in-between.”

They also added that the map will be just like the original Warzone map before all the changes, with locations like Dam, TV Station, Downtown, a closed Stadium, and more to drop into. There will also be Contracts that can be completed to unlock rewards like cash and weapon XP.

This news will come as a relief to long-time Warzone players that have been eagerly waiting to jump into Verdansk again. It remains to be seen if we’ll see other Warzone maps like Fortune’s Keep added to the game as well.

2022 is gearing up to be one of the biggest years for Call of Duty in recent memory. On top of the long-awaited release of both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, we’ve got Warzone Mobile to look forward to.

Call of Duty Mobile has proved to be a major hit, bringing the action of a mainline CoD title to our smartphones. Activision is now looking to repeat the trick with Warzone, placing a fully-fledged battle royale into our pockets, and even teasing the return of the classic Verdansk map.

If you want to be one of the first players to experience Warzone Mobile, you can do so by pre-registering, and we’ve got all the details you need to know below.

Pre-registering for Warzone Mobile is similar to a pre-order of a console or PC game, only there is no need to part with any money. Anyone who registers early will receive a notification as soon as Warzone Mobile goes live and will be able to download it immediately.

This will ensure you waste no time before dropping into the action, and could see you miss much of the early server traffic that could cause issues when the online mobile game launches.

The process of pre-registering for Warzone Mobile on Android devices is fairly straightforward, simply follow the steps below:

Unfortunately, at the time of writing, pre-registering for Warzone Mobile is unavailable on iOS devices. There is no word yet on when the option will be unlocked, but we’d expect to hear more details at Call of Duty Next.

Signing up for Warzone Mobile on Apple devices should be very similar to Android, but we’ll be sure to update this section as more details are announced.

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is officially on the way, so here’s everything we know about whether it has cross-play and cross-progression.

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is set to arrive later in 2022, and the devs have already teased Verdansk’s return. Cross-play and cross-progression have become an industry standard, so here’s everything we know about Warzone Mobile’s cross-play and cross-progression.

Following Call of Duty: Mobile‘s incredible success, it was no surprise to learn that Activision are bringing Warzone, their hit battle royale, to mobile devices. Aside from a short trailer teasing Verdansk’s return, not much is known about Warzone Mobile yet.

Warzone Mobile is expected to arrive after Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2‘s launch, so this has players wondering if mobile players will be playing alongside those on console and PC. Here’s everything we know about Warzone Mobile’s cross-play and cross-progression.

Although nothing has been confirmed yet, it’s highly unlikely that Warzone Mobile will feature cross-play with console and PC players. However, similar to most mobile games, we expect Warzone Mobile to feature cross-play between Android and iOS.

Not only would balancing mobile, console, and PC be a tough task, but Warzone Mobile is set to take place in Verdansk. With Warzone 2 bringing a brand-new map, the mobile and PC/console players should be on completely different maps and games.

It appears that Warzone Mobile will indeed have cross-progression, as the website link’s meta description said that the game will feature “authentic COD gameplay, shared progression, and up to 120 player count matches.”

As Warzone Mobile is expected to launch after Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, it will likely share its progression with these two games. What this would look like is anyone’s guess, but perhaps Warzone Mobile players will be using Modern Warfare 2 Operators and weapons on Verdansk.

We’ll learn much more about Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile at the Call of Duty: Next event, where content players will be playing Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer.
