Warzone Season 4 will offer players another way to get around the map, with Portable Redeploy Balloons set to arrive later in the season.
Warzone players are set to receive another way to get around Caldera in Season 4, with Portable Redeploy Balloons scheduled to arrive later in the season.
Warzone’s Caldera has undergone a major facelift for Season 4, with plenty of map changes designed to make it easier and more enjoyable to play. Despite that, the island is still huge, and getting around without a vehicle can be a frustrating experience.
One of the ways that Raven attempted to combat this issue was by taking inspiration from another battle royale. Apex Legends fans instantly recognized Warzone’s Redeploy Balloons, which allowed players to zip up a rope and get launched into the air.
Since their introduction in Season 2, these balloons have been in specific places that players needed to head to. That’s set to change later in Warzone Season 4.
Portable Redeploy Balloons will give players the chance to fly into the air at any time, as long as they have one of these useful tools in their inventory. They can be placed anywhere on the island, and will immediately allow for some great rotational movement.
They won’t hang around on the map forever though, as they will despawn after a certain amount of time, although the length of their existence hasn’t been confirmed just yet.
Players will also be able to destroy them, which could stop enemies from getting away, or stop opponents from following you.
Unfortunately, Portable Redeploy Balloons won’t be in Warzone with the Season 4 patch, with Raven confirming that they would arrive “later in season.”
It’s possible we may see this item in the mid-season update, but the developers didn’t give an exact release date, so as soon as we know we’ll be sure to update you.
Still, with the new Fortune’s Keep map, a Terminator crossover, and new Macro 5 and UGM-8 weapons, there’s plenty of new content for Warzone players to sink their teeth into in the meantime.
With Warzone Pacific Season 5 confirmed as the game’s final season, here’s when you could expect Warzone 2 Season 1 to start.
Warzone Pacific Season 5 got off to a start on August 24, but many players are wondering when the season ends as the finale is expected to usher in Warzone 2 Season 1.
While players still have a ton of time to enjoy all of the new content that arrived with the Warzone Pacific Season 5 update, some can’t help but look forward to Warzone 2. The battle royale sequel is expected to mark the beginning of a new era for the CoD franchise alongside Modern Warfare 2.
Aside from leaks about the new map, there’s very little information concerning the content that’s expected to arrive with Warzone 2 Season 1, but we can still take a look at the expected start date.
Thanks to the Battle Pass, we know that Warzone Pacific Season 5 comes to an end on November 16. This is the current official end date for the Warzone’s final season which got off to a start on August 24.
Furthermore, players can expect the Warzone Season 5 Reloaded update to arrive on October 5. This is the halfway point between the start and end date of Season 5, but the official date for the midseason update has not been confirmed as of yet.
The Battle Pass Timer in Season 5 ends November 16th.
The expected start date for Warzone 2 Season 1 is November 16. It’s important to note that the start date for Warzone 2 Season 1 has not been confirmed by Activision yet. However, there are two vital pieces of information that hint at November 16 as the start date.
Thanks to leaked images of internal Activision documents, Call of Duty players have circled November 16 as the date to keep an eye on when it comes to Warzone 2. The leaked images had November 16 as Warzone 2’s launch date.

Evidently, this coincides with the second piece of evidence, which is the end date for Warzone Pacific Season 5 landing exactly on November 16. While this could just be a coincidence, it’s likely that there is a correlation between these two events reportedly taking place on the same date.
Players looking for new Warzone 2 details should look forward to the Call of Duty: Next event. We’ll be sure to keep you posted on what to expect from Season 1 of Warzone 2 as new information comes to light.

Warzone players have discovered a hip-fire laoodut for a forgotten Modern Warfare SMG that could take Season 5 by storm.
Following a major buff in the Warzone Season 5 update, players have discovered a hip-fire build for a long-forgotten Modern Warfare SMG that could dominate the final season.
Warzone Season 5 has given players plenty of new weapons to choose from, from the EX1 Energy Rifle to the RA 225 SMG, with even more set to arrive down the line.
As is the case with every major update, Raven also used Season 5 as an opportunity to introduce a number of balancing changes to the existing lineup of guns, with the intention of shaking up the meta and making less popular weapons more viable.
Well, that’s exactly what’s happened to the Fennec from Modern Warfare, and with this hip-fire loadout, the SMG could be a major player in the final chapter of Warzone.
The Season 5 update saw the Fennec receive an increase in both its neck damage multiplier (from 1.01 to 1.4) as well as its leg and foot damage multiplier (from 0.9 to 1). These may seem like small changes, but they add up to a substantial increase in damage when you consider the SMG‘s blistering fire rate.
The result is a weapon that is devastating at close range, with less penalty for those stray shots that hit limbs instead of the head or torso.
On the back of this, Warzone player BrunoJohn117 shared a hip-fire Fennec loadout along with a clip of the build-in action, and it absolutely shreds. Check out the full loadout below:
The Fennec Hip Fire build is absolutely insane now in Warzone Season 5… w/ @PolishMoon2 @holy_shepard #Warzone #Warzoneclips #CallofDutyWarzone pic.twitter.com/M6NM3DHw8z
The key to this loadout is the 5mW Laser, which greatly increases hip-fire accuracy and sprint-to-fire speed, as well as the decision to not include a Barrel, which further boosts accuracy when not aiming down the sights.
Of course, movement is essential if you’re running a hip-fire build, which is where the No Stock comes into play. This boosts your overall speed and lets you put pressure on enemies, while the Monolithic Suppressor increases the damage range.
Finally, he went for 40 Round Drum Mags for extra ammo capacity, and Sleight of Hand for quick reloads during frantic fights.
If you’re looking for a loadout that’s a little easier to use in the final weeks of Warzone, then we strongly recommend giving this Fennec build a spin. It could make for a devastating short-range partner to a strong Assault Rifle or Sniper.

Warzone Pacific players are reporting that the Season 5 buffed Battle Hardened Perk is not working to protect them from Stun Grenades.
Warzone Pacific players are reporting that the Season 5 buff for the Battle Hardened Perk is not working to effectively counter Stun Grenades.
On August 24, the Warzone Pacific developers used the Season 5 update to significantly buff the Battle Hardened Perk which is primarily meant to protect players from Flash and Stun Grenades during battles.
Now, Battle Hardened should grant players an 80% resistance to both of these pieces of tactical equipment. However, players have claimed that the Season 5 buff to this Perk isn’t working.
Reddit user ‘digital_zero’ shared a video of their gameplay in which they claimed to have the Perk equipped. The clip showed them being shot at and then taking cover in order to heal from the attack.
They were hit with a Stun Grenade which ended up disabling them. Even with Battle Hardened equipped, the stun reportedly ended up lasting for 3.5 seconds. The Redditor described this as a “good demonstration of the buff not working as intended.”
Before the Warzone Pacific Season 5 buff, Battle Hardened granted 50% resistance to Stun Grenades, and digital_zero claims that not even that amount of protection was being provided in the clip that they shared.
Many of the commenters in the thread were surprised to see that the buff wasn’t working, and one of them stated: “Battle Hardened should not even make you stunned for that long to begin with. Stuns are broken.”
Generally, new seasonal updates tend to bring strange glitches that are later patched up. At the time of writing, the Warzone Pacific developers have not responded to this issue yet, and we’ll be sure to let you know if there are any more changes made to the Battle Hardened Perk.
